"Just pull over the car, Perry," I ordered him before Uncle Lux's car arrived in front of his company.
Even though he was hesitant, Perry stopped the car by the side of the road.
"What are you going to do?" Uncle Lux asked me with a furrowed brow.
"Of course, I'm getting out of your car," I replied quickly before opening the door. I was about to step out but he stopped me by the arm.
"We're going to the same place, Jianci," he said to me with a frown.
I removed his hand from my arm and placed it on his thigh. "I can't have anyone see me getting out of your car. They think I'm just your assistant. Do you want your employees to make a scene if they see their boss and his female assistant getting out of the car together?"
