The McKinney Pack residence is well outside town, a quarter of a day's drive. I shared a car with Elijah and Vincent. Our car was part of a convoy with the other royal wolves leaving the castle.
Bishop wasn't attending the event, but some of his sons represented his pack. One thing I noticed was that Elena wasn't coming to the hunt. When I arrived at the castle, she was nowhere to be seen.
"Why isn't Elena with us?" I asked, just to satisfy my curiosity.
"Elena doesn't have an Alpha, Delilah. She-wolves aren't allowed to join the hunt unless they're Lunas," Elijah explained.
"So this is like a competition for males to show off their strength and ego?" I teased.
