Ophelia analyzed the images from the camera feed in Douglas’s office. She couldn’t ignore the itch that they had communicated more than the spoken words. Especially when Evie mentioned NT #2. Ophelia replayed the recording again. There was something strange about their relationship.
Evie obviously didn’t want to stay long. She refused to sit down when Douglas told her to. And Douglas was Evie’s superior—that was obvious. In addition, he clearly didn’t like her leaving promptly.
