24 EMPs Willow and Tamra had already reported their EMPs set and in position. DeVaun, however, was not having it so easy. He’d had a good day by his standard, blown over twenty of those metallic murderers to smithereens. But the team of soldiers he’d been assigned to, a local squadron who spoke Bantu, had been aiming instead at the legs and arms of the robots. Every time DeVaun had blasted one, the commander would turn on him, then choke back the insult.
