His hazel eyes were streaked with amber. Out here, the sun forced an intimacy with men’s eyes. The nuclear guide looked over the Jeep’s windshield to the hours-away balloon. Vivienne opened the passenger door with her right hand behind her back, holding the camera in her left hand, stepping down, praying it was solid ground, and it was.
