“Honey I did it”, said Amelia. “ You did what?..”, asked Mr David. I'm pregnant. “You're what?..”, he asked on repeat. “ Am pregnant for real”, Amelia responded.

Wow!!... Mr David jumped up trembling with joy and finally made a declaration, “ I am a man”.

Amelia, who was also full of happiness, couldn't help but to keep smiling. This results in strengthening their bond.

Mr David tells Amelia not to work nor should she stress herself anymore as he will be taking care of the household chores, so as to ensure that the baby can be healthily fitted.

And also told her to keep visiting the hospital for medical check-ups. This continued for a longer period until one Tuesday morning after Mr David left for a business trip.

A few hours after her husband left, all of a sudden, Amelia noticed she was having abdominal pain. She thought it was a cramp and decided to visit the hospital for a check-up.

Before the advent of going to the hospital, she decided to give her husband a phone call that she was not feeling fine.

But Mr David's phone was not reachable because of a network issue. After a few trials, she left for the hospital.

On getting there, she was being attended to by doctor Kim.

“ Can you make me understand how you feel?”, the doctor asked. Amelia explained how and when she started having the pain.

After the explanation, the doctor decided to run a test on her, while patiently awaiting the results. After some time the doctor arrived with the result.

Upon arrival, she kept mute for a while. Amelia was curious to know why the doctor was mute. “ Is everything okay with you”, Amelia asked in a curious tone.

“ Sorry for bringing this bad news”, the doctor stated. “ Bad news ?..what does that supposed to mean?”, Amelia asked with curiosity.

The doctor gives the test results to her. While reading, Amelia found out that she was having a miscarriage according to the result.

“ This is not real”, Amelia exclaimed. Suddenly, her emotional state took over, “ how can this happen to me”, she started questioning herself with tears running down her cheeks.

She was crying heavily and was unable to be consoled by the doctor. Due to her present emotional state, she developed a high blood temperature Instantly, within a little time, she fainted, and was duly rushed to the emergency room for attendance.

Amelia's husband, Mr David's phone number, called but rather switched off.

After 35 min, Mr David's number was called again but this time it was ringing. The call was picked up after three attempts, and the doctor engaged him In a conversation.

Mr. David: “hello dear”

Doctor Kim: “Sorry sir, this is Doctor Kim calling”.

Mr. David: “Why is my wife's phone with you?..”

Doctor Kim: “your wife was currently at our hospital presently, undergoing some medical treatment after she fainted”.

Mr David: “what ?!!!...”

Mr. David: “send me the address of the hospital, I will come over after I touch down”.

Mr David went to the hospital after two hours of making the call, possibly because of his alignment from the plane.

He rushed to the emergency room where her wife was and met with doctor Kim.

The doctor instantly tells Amelia's husband about what happened. Mr David was in confusion upon hearing that her wife had a miscarriage, knowing his wife, he knows there's the possibility of her having a negative emotion.

He almost cried but tried to be strong because he didn't want anyone to see him crying as a man.

He loved and cherished Amelia so much and didn't expect something of that such to happen to her. After a while, Amelia regained her strength and finally opened her eyes and saw her husband standing beside her.

She was shocked to see her husband, and asked “Are you back from your trip”. “ The appointment was canceled”, he responded. How did you know I was in the hospital? Amelia asked.

I was told that you fainted while I was on my way home from the canceled appointment and finally headed here, how are you feeling now? He asked.

After some time of constant crying, he decided to take her home. Upon getting home, Amelia cannot control her emotional state. She started becoming bitter towards her husband and found it hard to engage herself in household chores.

Mr David takes over the responsibility of doing the whole household chores as an understanding husband, since they don't have a maid yet, to do them.

Mr David who always helps her wife with the workload is now taking full responsibility by taking charge.

Amelia always refuses to eat after her husband prepares meals for her, rather than eating, she decides to starve herself to death because of the incident that happened to her.

This kept up for a whole week, until Friday evening when she prepared bread and tea for her to eat since she was losing appetite already.

She refused to eat it, and her husband moved closer to hold her hand, and finally said, “Sweetheart, I know how you feel, I also feel bad about what happened, You have to let go of this. We still have another chance to give it a try again, don't hurt and starve yourself till death, I love you”. Mr David gave her a warm hug and patted her on her back to reduce her emotion.

He decided to feed her after that, but she refused to eat, but Mr David didn't give up on her and still persuaded her to eat the meal. She gives her one bit at a time while gazing at her and finally takes it from him.

Mr. David feeds her all the bread and calms her with words full of affection by saying, “ I trust you, I don't want you to give up”, and finally gives her a kiss to strengthen what he just told her. When Mr David woke up in the morning, he decided to wake up Amelia as well with a kiss to brighten her day.

Amelia was thrilled by her husband's affection towards her. When she came around, she noticed her husband was cleaning the house and stared at him for a while.

Unknowingly for her husband, she hugged him from behind for a few seconds and Mr David turned around to kiss her.

She told him to have a break because she was going to be aware of the cleaning from now on, but refused to give her the cleaning mop.

She persisted and her husband finally released the cleaning mop to her and took over the work. Her husband couldn't believe what was going on with her wife. He felt ambiguous and decided to ask her a question.
