I stared at them both. I needed answers.
"What girl were they on about?" I asked, suddenly remembering what she mentioned before.
"They never said a name, but it might be to do with who was taken from them, as Madison said she was going to leave the best scar on her back with the rest," Amy said.
Madison was on about my mate. She's on about Brooke.
I looked at Austin and Rex, who seemed to realize who she was on about it. Amy looked at all three of us. "You know who she is," she said.
I looked back at her. "She's my mate," I said with a slight growl slipping through my lips.
Amy looked back at me with widened eyes.
"You need to protect her," she says. "Hudson, can I stay here for a few days? Maybe you could contact some alphas to see who had the orphaned children sent to them."
