Hudson was gone for a few minutes; we knew that he wasn't into this as he wanted to do all this with Brooke by his side.
It has been a long two months.
The alpha's ceremony was still underway even if Hudson wasn't here. Everyone here needed some celebration. We all wanted Brooke here, but the other pack members lost so much over the last few months due to a man's beliefs.
"What are you thinking about?" Asked Adonis as he came to the side of me.
I turn to look at him and smile. "Just thinking I might go looking for my brother since this is his celebration."
Adonis smiles. "Ah, you can't blame him for not wanting to celebrate without his love next to him," he says softly.
His eyes leave mine, and I can't help but follow his gaze, which lands on Joe, who is dancing with my mother
