I looked stupid, my breath racing from embarrassment as henry stood at the doorway, watching with excitement on his face.
I had no cloths on, totally naked, my legs still spread wide apart, I hurriedly covered myself up with the duvet, staring at him in shock still.
I attempted to sit and staggered through the process, barely on my knees, my legs too heavy to carry me.
“A three some wouldn’t have been a bad idea you know.” He mocked as he approached my bed, climbed in, swept me off my knee and got on top me, again.
My heart started racing, my legs heavier than usual as he leaned in, attempting to kiss me, somehow I wasn’t feeling him, it felt different from earlier, I pushed him away, got out of bed and opened the door.
“leave, now.” With the meanest face I could muster up, it’s his house but I still needed my privacy.
He didn’t say a single word, he walked out of the bed with a smirk on his cheek as he walked passed the door and I slammed it against him.
I lay back in bed, eyes closed, as sleep swept me away.
I woke up the next morning feeling alive like I’ve been reborn or something better, I guess all I needed for the rough day I had was s*x, well m**********n did the trick for me.
A knock came through the door, I hoped it was neither Clara or her man ,I already have had enough of both, but the mansion had just us alone in it, so its definitely either.
“come in!” I said, almost screaming the third time after the knock continued.
OH right, I locked it after I pushed henry away.
I opened the door and Clara came in, glowing like she’d just stepped out of a perfume commercial, hair a mess, her flushed cheeks and that lazy morning grin, no doubt she had a very energetic sunrise.
“took you long enough.”clara placed both hands on her breast and I grinned at her anticipating her to spill the main reason she came looking here this morning.
“don’t look at me like that, you know it’s almost impossible finding you in bed by this time.”
I thought she would start off on the foot of the other night’s situation, did she forget already?
‘Its definitely not that late.” I pondered but decided to keep the conversation alive.
“what time is i?” I asked.
“its almost 12 pm Nora.” She replied as she checked her phone, swinging it to my face and I darted off to window almost not believing the accuracy of her claims, the sun was really up and bright.
“hell no!” I cursed within.
“are you so eager for me to leave your home ?” I grinned.
“Oh come on now Nora, I walked in on you with my man in close proximity on my supposed wedding night which you stood in for me, I had a right to overreact.” She argued.
“you know very well I don’t share.” She giggled looking at me in hopes for a reply.
I narrowed my eyes at her, rising from the bed a little “ stood In for you ?” I snapped. “that’s how you put it to feel better about yourself? I spiraled with my mean face.
Clara jolted towards the wardrobe, grabbed the wedding gown which lay on the floor. “ may I borrow it?” she stuttered a little while I ignored her ], it is originally her dress, why would she need my permission to take it.
“How about girls time to make up for this.” Clara suggested with a smile blooming on her cheek, but it just didn’t sit well with me.
“Its 12pm, the sun is up, you’re suggesting an afternoon party?” I asked her and she took a quick glance at her wrist.”
“we can adjust a thing or two, talk about team work.” Clara continued.
“so you’re in ?”
“ What do you have in mind?” I asked her as she got dramatic, a wider smile on her lips and a hand on her chin, as if she’s plotting some war tactics.
“Should I invite a few more pals to make it lively and fun ?” Clara took her phone and started sending calls while I just sat and watched her like her guest I was.
Hours later, the entire mansion was packed, music screaming from the speaker, girls in there bikinis at the pool, some scattered around in different corners, dancing to the music.
While everyone was on there business, chatting and getting mixed into the feeling the music had drawn them into, I stood at the balcony on top, in my bikini and a jacket to cover up as I was nowhere near the pool, half a drink in hand ,while I punched away on my phone, updating my bestie on every single thing going on in the party, though now, I can barely keep up – the drink’s already making my head spin.
“You know this wasn’t my idea of girls night when I suggested it,” Clara said as she collected my cup and poured in the content of whatever she had in that bottle of Hennessy.
“Oh really?” I smiled briefly not knowing if I wanted to, as I continued punching words into my phone.
“You need to come downstairs and join the party Nora.” She grabbed my hand and dragged me up, we were about to take the step, when a lady’s voice came jolting through our brief laugh and amusement.
“Clara, is that you?” She stressed, climbing up through the last step and approached, Clara embraced her as they held each other, saying words mixed with laughter difficult to hear and ignoring my presence.
“This is my sister, Nora meet Claire, Claire meet Nora.” I extended my arms with a smile, she met them halfway.
I couldn’t quite read her expression, but the grip on my arm was anything but friendly.
“The borrowed bride?” she says looking at Clara who nodded in the affirmative and continued. “yes, the borrowed bride.” Both burst out, laughing but I didn’t find it amusing, I gulped the glass Clara had handed me earlier and it burned my throat, twisting my stomach, I looked at Clara and there was this satisfaction on her face, when I blinked it was gone.
“Oh come on now, we should be downstairs partying, lets get right into it, shall we?” Claire blew a kiss to Clara, grabbed the drink from her hand and poured it down Her throat.
“I think I need to retire for today,” I left and disappeared into the main building and neither Claire nor Clara tried to argue or persuade me to stay, the stench of hate lingering behind me was thick enough to choke the room.
I pushed my door open when tripped on something and almost hit the ground, if not for someone catching me.
“Can’t handle your liquor?” Henrys voice came jolting in my head, catching the booze from my breath, I turned my head to look at him, shirtless, in nothing but his shorts, speechless.
“You didn’t look good storming into the building like that, I came to check in on you.” He continued after helping me sit comfortably on my bed now. “and you look alright to me, just a little off…a little ehhh.”
He bends over the door, grabs my flip flops and arrange them in the far corner.
“I don’t recall hearing a thank you.” He broadens his smile as if to impress me.
“forgive me, I just leta little talkr get the better of me, thank you, that fall would have been more severe if you weren’t there.”
He handed me a glass.
A bottle of Armand the Brigna c, on his hand, I wonder where that came from, he didn’t walk in it, or did he?
“Really appreciate, you’re feeling better now.” He bends over filling up my glass halfway.
“Fan of champagne?” I asked, gulping down the content of my glass.
“ I’m simply adapting to my audience.” He says with a warm smile, Reading through the letters written on the bottle as if to know the ingredients used to prepare the wine.
He drank straight from the bottle, satisfied with his answer.
“ you never told me if you liked me on bikinis.”I told him as I began to wonder why I said that.
“You’re right I didn’t.” that smile again left his chin, again.
But this time stays and wouldn’t leave.
I turned against him, merely attempting to set my bra lose , I bit my lips hard almost drawing blood, it was beginning to get hot and the room was almost spinning in my eyes.
“bra’s stuck, help me out of it.” I narrowed my eyes at him as he gently approached from behind, his presence filling up the room.
He tilts my hair aside, grabs the zipper and releases it but won’t let go.
He buries a kiss on my neck, gently embarrassing the moment, he grabs my neck more firmly now with his left arm and kept breathing into every vein on my shoulder, almost giving it life, I lapse into his body and it wasn’t enough, so turn around and stare into his eyes that searched through my face with a thousand question marks.
“you need to leave.” I said, my tone too calm for the action my words were meant to carry.
I locked my lips on his, heavily, gasping for breath and kissed him over to my bed with my lips locked, my hands caressing his body.
It’s been about 40 minutes or more, who was counting?
My head was fuzzy and my vision a little dark as henry rubbed my hair gently, I rested my head against his chest running my hands through his biceps, either preparing to dose off or go for another round with him, the door flung open and clara stood there, mouth apart, rage written all over her face.
“What is going on here.” As though she couldn’t smell the scent of s*x lingering in the air.
“You’re leaving this house tonight!.” Clara wailed and I froze.
