CHAPTER 7 The following morning, Lisa knocks on Dr. Schultz’s office door. He welcomes her in, but she says nothing. Instead, she hurries past him and takes a seat on the couch. He goes to his usual chair opposite his client. Lisa stares out the window, arms crossed in front of her. “I can tell you’re upset. Please explain why.” “I don’t know where to begin.” “So, it’s been a difficult week. Start by telling me why.” Mockingly, she says, “Let’s see, criminals ravaged my family home. The police and, separately, the FBI went through the house. They’ve torn open walls, pulled up floorboards, and shelves of books and treasures now adorn the floor.
