The specimen is dead, we think. It's quite difficult to say for certain since its biology is so strange. It's not breathing or moving, though at times an appendage will twitch, as though the massive body is in some sort of stasis. Each time this happens, all of us tense and prepare to subdue it once more.
The weaponized backpack this species is so notorious for is discarded on the floor, bits of it cracked and bent. This makes me nervous, and I instruct Daichi to take it to the surface and hide it. An item with such a potential for devastation shouldn't be kept in a home, even one inhabited by killers with super speed and enhanced senses.
