CHAPTER FIVE

Chapter 5: The Battle for Dominance

The two werewolves, Lyra and Kaidën, clashed in a flurry of fur and fangs. Their growls and snarls echoed off the cave walls, and Aurora watched in awe as they battled for dominance.

Lyra's determination and strength were impressive, but Kaidën's mastery of the moon's power seemed to give him an edge. His attacks were swift and precise, and Lyra stumbled backward, her fur matted with blood.

As they stood over Kaidën's defeated form, Lyra turned to Aurora and said, "You're one of us now. You're a true member of the pack." She nodded towards Kaidën. "And we won't let anyone threaten our pack again."

Aurora smiled, feeling a sense of belonging she'd never known before. "Thanks to you, Lyra. I owe you my life." She looked down at Kaidën, her eyes filled with a mix of anger and sadness. "I can't believe he was using me all along."

Lyra's expression was grim. "He was using all of us. But we're free now. And we'll make sure no one ever uses us again."

As they spoke, the cave began to shake and tremble. The ground trembled beneath their paws, and the sound of rocks falling echoed through the cavern.

"What's happening?" Aurora asked, her voice trembling with fear.

Lyra's eyes gleamed with a knowing light. "The moon is awakening. And with its power, we'll be unstoppable."
