Diana insisted that she was going to go to work that afternoon barely an hour after Fred left.
The Doctor had confirmed that she was fine even though he insisted that she still needed some rest after that accident that left the car in ruins.
“I have to get back to work, I am fine.” She insisted and left the hospital with her son.
It was obvious that nothing I was going to say could make her change her mind. She was already on her way with Will holding onto her hand tightly.
The little boy sent cold shivers down my spine as soon as he recognized Diana’s boss. He was very confident that he was the one involved in the car crash with his mother, and it also looked like he was a bit worried that he was in more trouble.
