ARIEL’S POV
I didn’t know if I was to ask Fred or Davis if any of them had told the two of them where I was. I looked at Davis, and seeing that he was surprised to see his brother, I turned to look at Fred who had his eyes on Lara.
“What are you doing here, Lara? Are you done with all I asked you to do?”
“Yes, boss! I brought Alpha Luke to see Diana. He said that she hadn’t been taking her calls.” Lara was clearly trying to paint me black, but it didn’t look like it was going to work out for her, instead, it backfired at once.
“I think you should go back to the office since you have already done what you are here for.” Fred didn’t look very pleased to see Lara, but she was more focused on staring at me like I had committed the worst crime in the entire world.
