DIANA’S POV
Finding out that Charles had asked Fred to have me taken out of the project was a big relief for me, even though I loved my job so much. The fact that I didn’t have to go to work to see Luke’s face was the last thing I wanted at that moment.
Davis had been trying to reach me for two days, but I figured that he must have figured out the fact that I was not going to ever speak to him again after everything he did.
It was another unsuccessful search for new accommodation, and I was very exhausted. I staggered home and found myself in my hotel room. Will was with one of the stewards I had to pay some cash to watch over him while I was away.
They seemed to be having so much fun, and the fact that the hotel management understood my plight was a big satisfaction.
