The sight of Diana standing so close to her boss gave me crazy chills that made me realize that I really didn’t want to lose her.
But it felt a bit awkward because it was the first time I was going to be burning a genuine feeling and affection toward anyone. Usually, whenever I had a rival who was trying to compete for a lady with me, I would never be anxious.
But with Diana everything was different. It was as if my heart stood still each time I saw her alone, and when she was with someone else, my heart would pick a race. That was a condition I couldn’t explain.
Things were not going the way I planned. I thought that it was just going to be a temporary euphoria, but I couldn’t imagine that thoughts of losing her kept me up for two nights.
