I spent the remaining time at work making a few adjustments on the deal to accommodate the new company even though we didn’t know what to expect. I just continued praying that I was not going to have a difficult time working with them.
Fred looked really pissed off, but that didn’t stop him from waiting for me to close from work so that he could offer to drop me home.
I spent a few more minutes just to finish up since Charles mentioned that they could be coming to see us the next day. I wasn’t even reminded about the supposed lunch date he offered to take me on the next day.
