Chapter Twenty-Nine Tasha awoke from a good night’s sleep, glad that the sounds of gunshots hadn’t awakened her. The headache was still there but significantly better. Stripping down, she took the shower she’d neglected the night before, enjoying the warmth as the dust, grime, and remaining blood of the previous day washed away. Checking the wall clock, Tasha saw that it was already 7:30 am. She’d wasted too much time in the water. She still had to run her morning mile before breakfast, which would only be available for another thirty minutes. The trainee hurried downstairs, and without stretching, started running.
