Chapter Fifteen
As she drove away from the apartment complex, Tasha had three tasks to accomplish, and one of them had to be completed before it got dark out. Consulting the paper map, she saw the town of Sawyer was located in the north-central part of the county. Her target was in the southeast. She headed west towards what looked like a heavily wooded area. Once she’d traveled well out of town and gone several miles without seeing any homes, she stopped on the side of the road.
There was no way she was going to move forward with this assignment using a gun that she’d never fired.
