Chapter Sixteen In the morning, Tasha headed south. She didn’t have a plan yet but wanted to get a look at the situation. It took twenty minutes to get into the area, and she saw that it was mostly farmland. Some of the farms seemed immense, and others family sized. A few looked abandoned, while others were productive. Driving past the address, she looked and saw a long dirt driveway leading to an old farmhouse. The mailbox had the house number but not the last name. There was significant tree cover between the road and the house, and she couldn’t see anything more than the rooftop. Unable to find any place to park in the area, she drove a few miles away and stopped at a small church.
