Chapter Seventy-Nine Tasha lay still, frozen in place, unable to scream. Her right eye still rested against the rifle's scope as she stared at Julie's body, splayed out on the stairs of the jet. A copious amount of blood from the massive head wound soaked the stairs and had splattered around the aircraft's doorframe. Before the shock cleared and her brain reengaged, allowing her able to move, her stomach responded. She vomited all over herself and the rifle, and then the tears started. She was still unable to process what had happened. Why had Julie been there? For over a minute, she lay still, not caring to flee the scene. Only after the two members of the flight crew, whom she didn't recognize, came out onto the stairs did she pack up her stuff and make her way off the airport grounds
