Chapter Fifty-One The battered Subaru dropped Tasha off a little closer to her objective than planned. Dressed in camouflage that blended in with the rocky environment, Tasha got out, put the heavy pack on, and headed off into the hills carrying the case containing the sniper rifle. The terrain was rugged, but the night air was cool which comforted her. There shouldn’t be any snakes to deal with. The night vision goggles allowed her to see the path she'd memorized from the maps. She moved swiftly, but the climb into the hills still took several hours. When she arrived at her goal, it was still dark, and she began working on unpacking some of the equipment and concealing the rest among the rocks.
