Chapter Fifty-Five Arnold Banks sat in the back of his car, waiting for the driver to get out and come open his door. It was a beautiful day, and he planned to spend it on the golf course with a couple of friends whom he’d known since college. They hadn’t all gotten together in several years, and Arnold had been looking forward to this. The door opened, and he stepped out and approached the golf cart that was waiting for him with his usual caddy behind the wheel. “The rest of your party is at the Clubhouse, sir,” the caddy said. “Thanks,” said Arnold as he approached.
