Chapter Fifty-Seven Two days later, in the evening, the ambulance left the warehouse. In the back were a critically injured assassin and an inebriated doctor. Tasha was now dressed in the clothes she'd worn when she left the resort and had received additional pain medication and a sedative to make the six-hour trip tolerable. She was still awake and fighting against the sedative. She was alone with this creepy doctor who she didn’t trust and was in no condition to resist him if he became inappropriate.
