Chapter Forty-Three
SIX MONTHS LATER
“Danny! Come here,” Tasha called to her husband.
She was sitting at the desk in the in-home office they shared. Her secure laptop was open in front of her.
“What is it?” he asked as he entered the room.
“I'm going out of town.”
“When I heard the phone go off, I assumed that. How long? You just got home from a job earlier this week.”
Ignoring the statement, Tasha said, “In two days, Lauren Crocker flies to Montreal, Canada. Then, I’ll fly to Cancun, Mexico using one of the other names. I’m booked for two weeks in an all-inclusive resort. The instructions say to make it look like a vacation, but pack for work too.”
