“And we can start on those lessons…tomorrow. Tonight I just want to spend some quality time with you. Let’s all get to know each other a little more each day,” Ella sang.
“Oh,” I felt my neck warm, “what would you like to do?”
“How about a movie night?” Lee asked beside me. I nodded my head. I couldn't remember the last time I saw a movie. Let alone watching a film with friends.
“Perfect!” Ella chimed as she wrapped her arm around mine and led me back towards the house. Lee walked directly behind us. Having them near made me feel incredible warmth…but there was also something static in the air as well. My skin hummed as I tried not to get lost in their smells and looks.
Ella continued, “I hope you don’t mind but Lee made the effort to make you supper.”
“Really?” I cinched my eyebrows
