Chapter Thirty-Nine

An alarm broke into my mind and I jolted up in bed. I looked around me to find the sound and turned to see my phone as it vibrated beside me. I mentally chided myself as I reached for the phone and turned off the annoying sound. I then remembered why I chose to wake up early and jumped from bed. Within minutes, I was dressed in a thick sweater, leggings, and my Chuck Taylors. I tied my hair up in a ponytail and grabbed my back. It was slightly heavy due to the drinks so I held one in my hand to try and lighten the load. I made sure my phone was fully charged and quietly exited my room.
