I ate dinner in my room and skipped our nightly routine of movies on the couch. I missed both Ella and Lee but I was nose-deep in his manuscript. I scoured every page to understand everything as best as I could. I made sure to highlight every symptom a person could experience and the reactions from others. I think I went to sleep around two in the morning.
I awoke to the smell of bacon. Lee took the time to make me scrambled eggs, bacon, and a fruit salad for breakfast. Once I ate every piece I stayed hidden away in the shed. I spent the night taking notes and I used the daytime to sketch.
To not waste time, Lee packed me up a lunch box that consisted of a couple of water bottles, a sandwich, almonds, and a peach. It was a bit hot today so I dressed in jean shorts and a red tank top.
