For the first time in a long time, I did something for myself. In fact, throughout the whole mentorship, I had done things for myself. I chose to come to the Matthews' private home. I had a whole room and a shed all to myself. I never had to cook or make anything for myself since I arrived. I got to learn and do things with my idol.
Even now I took a step toward being selfish. I traveled a long way through the early hours of the morning to watch the sunrise and draw to my heart's content. This was not a luxury I had in the city.
Sooner or later I have to return back to reality.
My fingers froze as I thought about that statement. In an odd way, it is almost as if I was living in a fantasy world. I was being catered to and somewhat pampered.
