At least I had work to occupy my mind for the next four hours and thirty minutes. I was able to lose myself in re-designing the company website and updating our social media to pass the time. Before I knew it, I realized I sat in my car for the past ten minutes in silence. I waited in the parking lot for so long because I was so nervous Ella would back out and bail. We were supposed to meet around 12:15 pm and I arrived at the lot at exactly noon. I had chosen a small Italian bistro called ‘Le Maria’. The restaurant was small but had plenty of outside seating. With seven minutes to spare, I decided to exit my car. It was probably better for me to find the best place to sit instead of having multiple panic attacks in my car.
