“So Lee told me that you took a nap on my rose bench.”
I was stunned by Ella’s words. After the kitchen frenzy, Ella decided to show me her personal garden. It was a short walk away from the pool and directly behind the house. She had a different array of roses, daffodils, tulips, and various other types that sat in rows. Ladybugs and honeybees crawled over the flowers as we walked in between them.
