VERA'S POV. The heavy wooden door slammed shut behind me, the sound echoing through the hallway. My pulse was still racing, my mind filled with truckloads of questions. What in the goddess’ name had I just stumbled upon? And why was Draven so desperate to keep me away from it? I made my way back to the main corridor, every step I took feeling like I was walking further away from answers and closer to even more mysteries.
