DRAVEN'S POV. The scent of blood hit me before I even stepped into the hallway that led to our room. It wasn’t too strong that it became overpowering, but it was enough to make my wolf stir uneasily within me. My instincts screamed at me to move faster, and without hesitation, I broke into a run, not caring who saw, and who talked. This was my mate we were talking about, everyone else could go to hell. The closer I got to the room, the stronger the smell of blood became. I felt my heart pounding in fear as I ran faster, until I reached the bedroom door, throwing it open with a force that sent it slamming into the wall.
