DRAVEN'S POV I stormed out of the room, the heat of my anger making my steps echo louder in the hallway than it probably should have. My wolves in the hall stepped back instinctively, their postures stiff and their heads bowed as they avoided eye contact. I didn’t blame them—it wasn’t often I lost control like this, but when I did, even I was afraid of my own self. The cool night air greeted me as I left the castle, but it did little to douse the fire burning in my chest. Hours passed as I walked aimlessly with no destination in mind. What was supposed to be a few minutes of walk to clear my head was now turning into hours and still I was nowhere near calm. Hours past and the next thing I knew the day had turned into night.
