VERA'S POV Well, this is... awkward. Forget awkward, it was horrible. I felt like a hardened criminal sitting in an interrogation room. I wanted to cry and that wasn't just words. No one had said a word to me yet and I could already feel my eyes tearing up just from the looks I was getting. The entire dining hall just felt too quiet for my liking, even with the murmured conversations of the pack members scattered throughout, and it was starting to make me very uncomfortable.
