(Lucian's POV) She didn’t answer. I reached around her and adjusted her hands on the grip, almost feeling all the way up her arms. I fought myself to stay calm. “Both hands,” I said slowly, softly. “Firm. Right here.” I guided her hands around the gun. Her breath hitched immediately. I could feel the steady rise of her chest, each inhale and exhale matching the rhythm of mine. “Eyes on the target,” I said. The roughness of my voice surprised me. And I could tell she felt it too.
