Bonnie's POV
The next morning, I woke up to loud rapping on the door. I took my time to gain senses and quickly fixed my jet black curls that were messed up from a good night's sleep. I trotted to the door and before I could grasp what was happening, I was pulled into a bone crushing bear hug, sandwiched between Lewis and Clark.
"Good morning Bon bon", shrieked an immaculately dressed Clark and Lewis just stood there, hugging me with a grin on his face. It has always been like this. Clark, the fun person and Lewis, the softie.
I chuckled before answering:
"Good morning guys. I thought you guys won't come until after noon."
"Well, yes. That was the plan first. We were going to stop by my penthouse first but Clark couldn't wait to flirt with the new juniors."
"Heyyyy!" Clark protested in response. "Everyone knows the new girls are straight out of the Victoria's Secret's shows… It's not my fault my libido is high."
Lewis and I laughed heartily at his antics as Clark fake pouted and grabbed us both for another bear hug. He was like that… with his big Eagle feathers, he had the personality of an empath, but oh was he one.
He was the fakest empath to be honest and this wasn't even an insult. He was proud of having such a diabolical nature.
"So, when do classes start?" Lewis turned to me.
"Home class starts in an hour and half and the first lecture is about Hollows."
Lewis being the nerd that he is, started jotting down various things in his planner. I turned to Clark and he was already outside my room, peeking at a certain girl who was standing at the end of the corridor.
I punched him on his bicep.
"Ouch. I was just admiring the neatness of the girls' dormitory. It is so perfect, even cleaner than our lecture halls."
"Stop blabbering Clark, I know you were checking out that new junior. Just don't do it while standing in front of my room. I don't want your future exes to already know my name so they can trash talk me."
"Aww. I'm so sorry angel. I thought you were over the last incident. Rachael didn't do anything on purpose. She was just trying to catch my attention."
"By pouring her alcohol on me at a junior's party? Oh okay." I sneered. The fact that Clark hasn't yet apologised to me for her behaviour irks me a lot.
"C'mon bon bon, you know you love me."
Oh and also nobody can stay mad at mister charmer here for too long. I smiled and swatted away his hand to which he reciprocated by looking offended.
As the boys made their ways back to their own dormitory, Bonnie grabbed her things and left for the common washroom to get ready for the day. After a quarter hour, she was ready for the day.
She texted Lewis to meet her at the cafeteria since Clark will be busy with his other friends. Lewis wasn't exactly a loner like me but he had very limited friends. Also, he never shared anything with them like he did with me. We were closer.
I grabbed some fruit salad and a granola bar and sat down at a free spot, waiting for Lewis to arrive. As I was halfway through my fruit salad, someone occupied the seat I had reserved for Lewis. At first I thought it was Lewis himself but when I looked up, I was stunned to find a drop dead gorgeous hunk looking at me with a grin on his face.
This boy was about more than half a foot taller than me and had mud brown hair that reached his shoulders. The rest of his gorgeous hair was tied in a knot at the back of his head. He looked no less breathtaking than Tom Cruise himself. I was basically swooning over his looks when he cleared his throat and I came to my senses.
"If this seat isn't occupied, can I sit here?" He asked me in a deep husky voice.
"Uhm, actually I have been waiting for a friend and that is HIS seat." I told him emphasising that he cannot sit here. He was hot and all but I don't socialize normally.
"Aaaand I'm here, so no. Get away, JUNIOR!" Lewis spoke from behind me in a menacing tone. The hunk left but Lewis had a very rare sneer on his face as if he almost hated the very being of the new boy.
"Hey hey hot head. Cool down. What was that about? Junior? I have never seen you bullying juniors."
"It wasn't even bullying. I was just showing him his limits." Lewis mumbled. Okay. This was sooo not like him. We finished the rest of our breakfast in awkward silence, none bringing up the matter again.
We had home class and were supposed to be in the same hall for it, so after breakfast, we left for the lecture hall- U01. On our way, he stuck closer to me than we usually were. It wasn't exactly weird but it wasn't normal either.
As we neared our hall, we could see the crowd that had gathered outside it. Furrowing our brows, we pushed through the crowd to see what the commotion was about. As we emerged in the front, there it was.
Lying in a strange position on the podium of U01, was a student's limp body. She was dead. I gasped in shock.
In a few moments, the head teacher squeezed out of the crowd with a few other teachers and everyone was told that the classes were off for today. A student was freaking killed!!
