The next day, I woke up early, feeling a bit more relaxed than I had in the past few days. The quiet of the house was comforting. I reached for my phone, hoping the new day would bring some clarity, and checked my messages.
There was one from Luna Maria. She had sent me a quick note explaining that the designer would be coming to my house tomorrow to take measurements. I didn’t need to go to their house anymore. She had already given the designer my address. Apparently, she didn’t want the incident between Liam and Kaden to repeat itself, so this arrangement would be better for everyone.
