“Does it hurt?”
I was combing Daisy's hair and I accidentally pulled her tangled hair. I had already grown to like Daisy a lot, sometimes I smiled thinking if my child was going to be like her that is if she was a girl.
“My mom always does this for me before she gets sick.” Daisy said.
I gave her a faint smile. I knew she missed her parents a lot.The only reason why she was still this happy was because she was staying with us.I wonder how she would be treated inver aunt's place.
I wouldn't want her to fall into the hands of someone like Teresa. Life would become unbearable for her if that were to happen.
“Daisy.” I called and she peered at me.
“What's your aunt like?”
“Am I going to her place?”She questioned.
“Um.” I didn't know what to say.
