Ryan's POV
The drive to the North Pack was quiet,my eyes were glued to the laptop as I typed frantically and responded to emails. Connor kept talking to me through the link to speak to Vanessa who I could feel the guilt coming from her.
But I didn't bulge,some years ago everything was normal amongst the seven of us. I had grown so fond of Vanessa that I began to develop strong feelings but she toyed with my emotions by running off with that scoundrel she called her lover after finding out everything about me.
“We are here.” Connor announced from the driver's seat.
I closed the laptop and looked up at him, Vanessa was staring at me but I didn't spare a glance.
