Endless Battle

Prologue

I sat quietly on my bed while staring out the window. The wind dances the leaves of the tree and it's branches. I lowered my gaze to my hand the moment I touched the IV attached to it. I smiled bitterly as I looked straight at it. As long as I wanted to live normally, I can't. I never asked to have this disease but I could not stop it. I looked at the door when I saw Olivia entered smiling at me, I just looked straight at her. They know me as a cold and heartless person. They never seen me smiling and laughing.

"When can I get out?", I asked while looking straight at her and some medicine being injected into my IV.

"Right now I don't know, you still need to rest because you might get tired", she replied with a smile

"Tomorrow morning I will leave here, my company needs me"

"Don't think about your company first, all you have to think about is your situation. you know you are in a bad situation Autumn, please don't force yourself to go out ",she said before leaving my room.

I looked at the IV attached to my hand. My company needed me but they did not want to let me out of here, I closed my eyes and slowly lay down on the hospital bed. Life really is cruel on me, maybe this is my punishment for being not nice to everyone. If I only knew that life could be this hard on me I should've starve myself or kill myself immediately.

"when you have a hard time with the things around you, just think that we are always by your side Autumn my daughter", mommy's last words before she lost her life.

I took a deep breath as I close my eyes and think about mom and dad by my side.
