“I mean, I don’t know if I’m going to stay with her or where....” I began slowly. I watched his piercing blue eyes get narrow. “I highly suggest you stay at her place. What if something happens to you? You know what,” he said, changing his tone and removing his cell phone from his pocket, “I’m not gonna force you to do anything you don’t wanna do.” I watched as he turned back around and began swiping away on his phone, looking irritated. I tried to process what had happened. Why did he seem so invested that I stayed with the waitress? Then proceed to joke about staying with me, get mad when I don’t jump head first with staying with strangers, then get mad at me when I decide not to stay with said strangers? It was a shame because he had to be one of the most gorgeous men I had ever seen.
