"I don't understand." The young chef answered.
"What do you mean by that? What do you mean, you don't understand?" Daisy asked her.
"She's not here. I'm confused." She replied.
"Are you kidding me? So all you said was just a lie? You made the story all up?" Daisy asked her. She was now getting furious.
"No, ma'am. I didn't make it up. It's the truth. I swear." The young chef said, with her voice now shaky.
"Oh! So you're trying to take me for a fool? How are we sure that you are not the culprit and you are just trying to make a fool out of us?" Daisy asked, while staring her dead in the eyes.
"Never!" She yelled. I would never do such a thing. I would never take you for a fool. Not in this lifetime and definitely not in another." She assured Daisy, who just scoffed and looked away.
