We arrived back at the mansion after a few hours' drive, and as the gates opened, I sighed. "Back to the invisible life!" I muttered, under my breath. I guess Kelvin heard me because he peeked at me through the front mirror. He parked the car in the garage and got out of it. I, on the other hand, was wowed by the number of cars there. Seeing the way I was looking around in amazement like a lost puppy, one would have thought that I was a stranger in the house. I had been living in the house for just a few months but I had never stepped out. Not because I wasn't allowed to go out, but because I had nowhere to go. Even if I was allowed to go out, where was I going to go in the area? Nowhere. So, I never thought about leaving the house. I still sat in the car, admiring all the other cars
