DANIEL’S POV
A few minutes later, we got to my hotel room.
My uncle ran the place, so whenever I wanted to stay away from my apartment, this was my go-to.
He had customized it to my taste.
I stepped into the bathroom to wash my hands and buy myself a moment. When I returned, she was on the bed fully clothed, yet undeniably sexy.
I felt a familiar tension building.
A bulge started to rise.
“You say that like you don't bring girls over all the time,” she said, flipping her curly dark hair and giving me a look.
I let out a half laugh and shrugged. “Aside from my ex, you're the first girl I've brought here.”
I walked towards the bed. Not to seduce her. Mostly to hide what was already growing.
She then asked to remove my glasses.
I hesitated.
Part of me thought she would recognize me immediately after taking it off. At first, she looked like she was trying to place something. She gave up and looked like she wanted to take a bite out of me.
Then she kissed me.
It wasn't rushed, it wasn't gentle. It was electric.
I wanted more. I wanted to feel every part of her. I didn't want to end with kisses. She was like a book I wanted to finish slowly, flipping through every page and not missing a single word.
“Should I?” I asked, barely able to contain my voice.
She nodded, and my body moved before my mind could.
I unbuckled my belt, releasing the tension.
I slid my hard d**k into her, thrusting slowly into her p***y.
It was soaking wet and warm. Her p***y clung onto my d**k like it didn't want to let go.
Sex hadn't felt this good in a while, not even with my ex.
I didn't want to end this chapter so fast. So I took my time and savored her until dawn.
I woke up groaning to a call from my personal assistant, Sophy.
“Mr Reese, you have a meeting by 9.00am, and it's already 8:30am.”
Shit.
I jumped off the bed in a hurry to freshen up, hoping the girl beside me would not wake up from the noises.
I didn't want to have to deal with the awkward post-s*x talk. I wasn't good with those.
So after getting completely dressed, I placed a handwritten note with my number on the back next to her.
In case she had questions.
And maybe a part of me still wanted to keep her close.
5 hours later
I'm still staring at my phone, hoping to get a call from her.
“Mr Reese, Frederick is requesting a feature in the remix of his new song Your Grace,” Sophy said, interrupting my thoughts.
“That punk, he goes from writing trash to art in a span of 24 hours. I don't buy it.” I pointed at Sophy. “You tell Frederick that there's no way in hell I'll ever work with him.”
Sophy nodded before adding, “I've gone to check on the songwriter, she seems legit. She's in the lounge awaiting your arrival, sir.”
“I'll be there in a minute. I just need to use the bathroom real quick.”
I heard a quick thud coming from the restroom, pulling my attention from my phone.
When I got to the bathroom door, I heard a huge thud again, but this time it felt like someone falling. I rushed in to see a girl lying on the floor.
“Are you okay?”I asked worried.
She was cold for some reason, especially after I offered to get her a first aid kit.
I brushed it off, thinking she was just embarrassed from the fall.
Then, after her failed attempt to get the door open, she asked for my help. I walked to the door, standing next to her.
She smelled like her…
I brushed the thought off quickly.
I tried to force it open, but it remained jammed. I had told Sophy to get this damn door fixed 3 days ago.
She scurried away from me like I was some disease. No one had ever done that to me before. It was new, and I didn't like it.
Her key dropped, and I pondered whether I should leave it there or return it.
I reluctantly decided to return it, so I tossed it to her. She turned around quickly, flailing her hands in the air, like a kid.
But now her face was fully turned to me, and I could see it.
It was the girl from the club.
Why was she here?
Didn't she recognize me as Daniel Reese?
And why had she been so different towards me?
“I knew something about you screamed familiar,” I said with a smirk.
But her reaction didn't change. She was still cold, and I couldn't help but ask:
“Are you mad at me or something?”
A second later, Sophy bursts in with a man breathless with apology. Then she turned to introduce us.
The girl let out a loud gasp, her eyes widening in shock.
I guess that answers one of my questions.
She hadn't recognized me as Daniel Reese.
Not until now.
