Chapter Two

*Ryuk pov*

One of my men linked me about twenty rogues running along the border.

“Let me know where they go." cutting the link off I begin going through the papers from the Blackwater pack. Been getting more reports of the alpha abusing lower ranks there. Running my hand down my face groaning.

“My king their heading to the moonlight pack." “Thank you Jacob I'll be on my way"

Heading to get my beta and gamma.

“James I need you and Johnson to follow me" James my beta and Johnson my gamma we give each other a nod and head out.

“Were heading a little off my border the rogues have been seen going towards moonlight pack." Giving them the update we take off are clothes and shift. My lycan Kage is about 7'8 all black fur with my right upper arm has three marks like someone clawed me.

Its red crimson color and had it since I first shifted. I'm still looking into the missing princess from wispwood, faebridge, starwhisper, and bloomheaven.

There is many more but I lost count of the names.

The queen came back devastated her brother Arthur the king got ill and passed the crown down to her since he didn't have any kids. Queen Endor refuse to talk about her daughter or where she might be.

Than four years ago something tragic happened and she's been ill since. And so far I'm the only one helping keep her kingdoms protected and running.

My father Cratus was friends with Aurthur and Endor. She asked me to see if I would look over the kingdoms and if she passes she wants me to take over.

“Ryuk I'm picking up different scents but their not rogue" James linked me.

“Johnson James split up I'd continue to go to the right."

“Aye captian" I start chuckling than a smell hit me. Coming across a big bolder I start to hear growling but finding nothing. I round the right corner once more than see a silver 6'8 wolf. Hearing the wolf growl with the hackles raised getting no scent which is odd. I slowly stalk towards the wolf sensing its a she wolf. Gasping at her eyes one a red crimson that looks more like a scarlett color more i think about it, than the other a violet color.

Her paws are crimson red making me wonder. If she's a rogue I have to take her in for questioning. Maybe she belongs to the new pack? getting into fighting stance I go to take a swing somehow missing her, than before I can dodge she kicks me with her back leg. Right before I can regain my balance she bites my upper thigh, and shakes her head adding more pressure.

I begin to growl she lets go I take another swipe at her and she dodges.

Making me more angry. My paws digging into the snow chasing after her, she begins to slide in the mud. Before I can realize where she's heading we on small ice patch. I'm slipping and sliding while she holds her own.

Is she wolf laughing at me? the nerve angerliy trying to run faster than two others a male and a female runs along side her.

Their wolf smiling looking like their having fun.

“Well I didn't expect to see you already bloody" Johnson laughs.

James looks a little blooded but seeing I'm the worse out of them. We continue to chase after them than out of the blue they jump making us skid to a stop. f**k they jumped off the cliff.

We looked at each other knowing their probably dead, but seeing a silver wolf I know she has to have special gifts. So I don't think their dead if anything their probably laughing at us.

Giving up we head back to the castle taking us 15 minutes. Shifting watching my lycans white eyes with small red specks disappear.

My sea green eyes staring back at me I begin to chuckle seeing the bite mark on my thigh along with some claw marks. Refusing to let it heal I swab it where it has silica in it.

Maybe this can give me an Idea on who she is. Letting it heal up leaving a scar surprising me. Taking the small vile to the medical wing sophia running up to me smiling big with dark brown eyes.

We used to hook up but I told her it never would be dating. She begins to slowly cress my arm making me growl at her. She backs off instantly and finally leaves me alone making me sigh in relief.

“Jessica can you run a dna test on this? see if you can get anything out of it."

“Sure thing my king" her steel grey eyes shining. Giving her a small smile “Someone is happy today"

“I found my mate and sophia quit saying it wasn't meant for her. So everything is going smoothly now."

“Thats good to hear" I smile she begins to put her blonde hair into a bun.

“It'd take 24 hours so it should be ready tomorrow." Thanks Jessica she gives me a small nod and walks away.

Something is off about that wolf and I'm intrigued. Linking James and Johnson to meet me in my office.

“I'm busy at the moment James is on his way though." Johnson says than cuts the link.

As promised James is waiting for me and has some paperwork. “Thought you was wanting some information on the wolf. Turns out there's a new pack someone under Sephtis Namir purchased land a few years ago. But its just a swamp and even the map shows a swamp."

“Intresting and whats the rest of the paper work?"

“Its of a girl that killed herself in the Blackwater pack. Jumped off the cliff the Alpha there is a piece of work. I also got the ones they'd mistreat out and currently undergoing more investigation."

Let me see motioning for him to come forward. He leans against the desk and hands it to me. He has blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He's 6'4 broad muscles straight teeth showing small fangs. He's part lycan and fae. Johnson is full blood lycan his fur is a dark brown. Johnson has brown hair jade green eyes he's 6'3 and his twin sister about the same but she's 5'9.

Opening up the folder a girl who's 18 with long coper hair her eyes looks like a blueish green the right lighter and left darker.

Light pink lips pale skin and I can barley see pointy ears.

Says she's a werewolf mixed with druid and light elf but she never shifted. Her birthday is non existent just a picture and age. No name nothing making me wonder if she really did kill herself or not.

“Didn't the queen run from that pack due to her mate cheating and rejecting her?" I asked. “I believe so I think its time for you to talk to the queen about it." Nodding my head agreeing massaging my temples.

“We have one problem though" making me look up curious.

He looks nervous almost making me raise an eyebrow at him.

“ My brother Thanatos black hair goes to his shoulders a bit curly his right eye a forest green and his left a scarlett red. Well he seems to have disappeared I have no connection to him anymore."

Remembering Thanatos and how much trouble he always got in.

All the fights if his brother can't find him it means trouble. He got rejected by Jance from a different pack.

Than after that James picked a fight with him that made him leave are kingdom. He should be 24 now. We used to be close but we drifted apart after high school. At 19 rejected and left the pack haven't seen him since no trace or anything.

We have a lot to undercover try to find Sephtis Namir see if he has any Ideas, and we have to look into the three packs that was allys to the Blackwater pack. They've been taken out just wiped out several killed and what I gathered several torchered.

He nods his head “I'll look into it but take the picture to the Queen Endor see if she shows any motion, if she does we know that has to be the princess."

Nodding my head I begin to think

“Whoever wiped out the other three packs seemed to leave the Blackwater pack. Makes me think their under attack but can't be for certain until we hear from them we stay still." He nods his head waves and leaves. I get up grab the picture and head out to leave hoping Endor would give me an answer.

My sister Blair runs up beside me opens a portal and we step through. Guards stepping aside I open the castle doors and blair stays outside. I stop for a minute than link her. “Blair didn't you say you worked with a Sephtis before?"

“No why?" “Well if so let me know if you come across Sephtis Namir he's an Alpha of a pack. So far we haven't found the name of the pack."

“I'll let you know if I come across anything."

“Thanks sis" cutting the link.

Knocking on the her door Queen Endor its me Ryuk. Slowly peeking in she's laying still on her bed. Endor are you okay? than I see a shadow turning around I back hand the person before they can leave.

Grabbing them by the collar realizing its a man he begins to laugh. Using my command “Who are you?" his eyes widen sweat begins to run down his face. Listening to see if she has a heart beat I link the pack doctors to hurry up her heart is faint.

The man passes out my sister running in she bites into her wrist and eases the queen to drink her blood. She looks pleased letting me know there's a small chance she will live. Grabbing the man I link Jacob to get some Warriors and to teleport here.

He does and I tell them strictly only they are allowed around the Queen and to keep an eye on the doctors.

Having an investigation started to see how this man got in. He has a small scent of coconuts.

Blair opened the portal to are dungeons and I throw him in a cell. Coating the metal bars with silver it has no effect on me.

Jacob linked me letting me know she should pull through but she's not fully in the clear yet.

Once he wakes up I'd be getting answers one way or the other. “We have a problem a silver snow leopard been spotted. Their paws are midnight blue and they have a nasty scar on the right side from the

head to the mouth, and many others."

“James where?"

“f**k Blackwater pack under attack and I lost sight of the snow leopard."

“f**k Blackwater pack is a day drive and my sister is already drained. Did you catch the eyes of the leopard?"

“No but it was fast and gone within a minute."

Well s**t “Nothing we can do but begin to travel on foot it'd be faster."
