“I thought I’d lost you,” Viran whispered in her ear.
The weight of her underwater adventure fell on her, and Keriya wrapped her arms around Viran, hugging him back fiercely. A breathless sob escaped her as she pressed against his chest. She was relieved to find him safe, grateful beyond measure to be reunited with him.
