Time flashed by, and it was midnight. Alana and I were the only ones left sitting by the fire. Now that everyone else was fast asleep, I had plans to carry on the “baby-making” that was interrupted this morning.

I was about to tell Alana to play a game of our own when Yuki’s voice was heard. I was twitching by the corner of my mouth. Yuki was constantly cockblocking me.
“What’s up? Why are you out shouting in the middle of the night?”
Yuki quickly grabbed ahold of my arm and said, “Flynn. Quick. Come and take a look at Millie. She…”
Since something might have happened to Millie, I asked anxiously, “What’s wrong with Millie?”
“Millie… Millie’s burning up!”

It did not make sense to me. The weather had been fine for the past two days.
