With the bow in my hand, I was eager to try it out. Having found an empty coconut shell, I placed the shell as far as fifteen meters away. I took my position, aimed, and drew the bowstring back!
Swoosh!
The bamboo arrow jetted out of my hands and hit the coconut shell.
“Wow, Flynn! That’s a bull’s eye!”
Watching on the sidelines, Yuki shouted excitedly.
“Hehe. It’s nothing impressive. No praise is required here. I’m a legend.”
I jogged toward the coconut shell. The shot was powerful, seeing that the bamboo arrow had penetrated the coconut shell, and the coconut was one tough nut to crack, pun intended. We should be able to kill small animals in one shot when hunting for wild chickens and rabbits. We now had a weapon to defend against bigger animals too.
