My tiredness got the best of me after a short conversation with Bella and the girls, so I retreated to the tent for a nap. Bella and the rest stayed behind to keep the chat going.
“Wake up, Flynn.”
I opened my eyes to the worried look on Yvette’s face. I asked amid a yawn, “What’s wrong, Yvette? Did something happen?”
“Frederick’s back. He brought along… Ernie.”
Yvette solemnly replied.
I was surprised at the mention of Fredrick, but the name “Ernie” threw me off completely. Jolting up, I fished out the Damascus knife.
